Founded in 2015, Door is a Jar Magazine is an online publication of poetry, short fiction, nonfiction, drama and artwork. Our publication focuses on writing that is accessible for all readers. We publish well-crafted writing that has cadence, personality, and uses familiar language to take readers on a journey. Furthermore, we celebrate the diversity of our readers, artists and writers; no matter one's social class, race, sexual orientation, lifestyle, religion, gender, education or experience, we want to publish your work and we invite you to read our publications. It is our hope that you will join us by submitting work, or by simply reading our current or archived issues.

MAXWELL BAUMAN is an M.A./M.F.A.

JACK FABIAN is an undergraduate student at Staffordshire University in the UK, studying English and Creative Writing. His interests include dystopian fiction and pugs. His writing focuses on gritty, urban dystopia, and in his spare time he listens to The Smiths and hopelessly pursues a healthy lifestyle.
NINA LONG holds a degree in elementary education and an M.A./M.F.A. in Creative Writing. She loves to read, write, and bake. Most of her writing inspiration stems from her hilarious 2nd graders and watching ridiculous amounts of television. She lives in Pennsylvania.

CORINNE ALICE NULTON had her 14 Symptoms produced at the Brick Theater's Game Play Festival in 2014, and her ten-minute-play "Flesh" was a finalist at the Kennedy Center in 2011. Currently, Corinne is an adjunct instructor at Penn State Worthington Scranton and a grader at Penn Foster.
