After 11 years and 40 issues, Door Is A Jar Literary Magazine is closing down.
We started as a digital issue, and slowly grew into 4 issues in print a year. We traveled to literary festivals and book conventions all across the country.
We made a quality product, and brought the magazine to the newsstand in Barnes and Noble and Books-A-Million, and in independent bookstores. Even though it is sad we are closing, looking back, there is still a lot for us to be proud of.
While there won't be any new issues, we're making it so you can read everything in archive for free. We also have videos from our past reading events on our YouTube channel.
Thank you to everyone who submitted their work, thank you to all of our contributors and staff over the years. We wouldn't have gotten this far without you.
